Plan B TEDx Lecture

1. What are Plan B's beliefs/politics? What are his values/ideologies?

Plan B's beliefs include that there should justice and fairness and should equality between everyone that walks on this earth. He also believes that young people should not be overlooked just by looking from where they are brought up or where they are live or who they hang around with. Plan B's ideology is that he thinks that anyone should  be treated the same disregarding which ethnicity or background they are from.

2.Who is the target audience of the TEDx lecture? Demographics? Psychographics? How do you know? How does this compare to the audience for his music/films?

The target audience of his lecture is adults between the age of 25-45 because they are the people who mainly overlooked young people, especially after the London riots. The lecture is mainly targeted at a c1, b, a demographic. This is due to people in this category over looking young people and they judge them. Also that demography is manipulated by the media. But because of Plan B's background there is a 4c audience that really look up to him and then they get a bit of freedom from restriction and social awareness.

3.What does Plan B say about the media? Explain how this can be linked to Cohen's media theory of moral panics?

Plan b’s views on the media are that of bias and unfair. This can be linked back to Cohen’s media theory of moral panic due to the fact that media through this negative representation has created an instance of public anxiety are alarm in response to a problem regarded as threatening the moral standards of society.
