ill Manors - The making

1) What does this tell us about Plan B's intentions in making the film?
Plan B tells us that he wants to change peoples mind when they look at young people and the people that were involved in the riots.

2) What do we learn about the production process for Ill Manors?
We learnt that it took a long time to actually get to a point when they actually made the film. We found out that he first made a music video which leaded up to a short movie which was shown on channel 4, we also found out that he they had a very low-budget to make this film. he used non-professional actors which in most cases was the best option because these people have lived through these situations.

3) What can you tell about the possible target audience from this short documentary?
From watching the movie I think the target audience was middle class people because they looked down at young people but the movie had a big hit with young people in my opinion just because young people was at the heart of the movie.

4) Does the film successfully do what director Ben Drew (Plan B) set out to achieve? Explain your answer with reference to both the film and the making of documentary.
I think the film did achieve what Ben Drew set out to do because it showed that people in this movie needed "love, compassion" because then they would have settled down because they needed someone to care but no one did and then they need to stand and survive on their own and I think that was what Ben Drew showed in the film.
